1950s Pink Spaghetti Poodle Figurine with Gold Luster found by Willabird Designs Vintage Finds

This fantastic 1950s pink spaghetti poodle with gold luster feet is classic kitsch at it's finest! A fabulous little porcelain figurine, the hair and tail are the spaghetti method popular in poodle figurine in the 50s. It was applied in all kinds of techniques, including using tea strainers to push clay through to form the strands. Spaghetti is very fragile and tends to break or chip over the years. It's pretty intact on this poodle, however please note that the flowers atop her head are chipped, see photos. Spaghetti poodles are a vintage kitsch collectors item and I can see why, I love this goofy little dog!
