Vintage Sterling Silver Maciel Mexican Sombrero found by Willabird Designs Vintage Finds
This Vintage Maciel Mexican sombrero dish is 52 grams of 925 sterling silver, stamped. The price per gram for sterling silver today makes this worth $41.08 in silver alone. Most of these seem to be from the 50’s-70’s, I don’t know the exact date of this one. Similar size, weight, and make are selling online for anywhere between $300-$3000! Now that’s one fancy cactus hat. 😂
