Mid Century Kitsch Mushroom found by Willabird Designs Vintage Finds

Mid century (most likely the 1950’s which seems to be when a bunch of these blew up) mushroom decor. This is actually for Christmas, with a white deer & poinsettia- but it definitely doesn’t scream Xmas to me, and I’d put it out all year. Various plastics, and the tag reads, “Styled by Danson, Hong Kong.” When I found this it was still in its plastic packaging, which was basically disintegrating! 🙃 I believe it was put into someone’s storage but never used. The back of the mushroom has been smushed inward, but it all looks fab from the front. These guys have made a huge resurgence, and you gotta love the mid century kitsch. Some are selling for upwards of $200!
