Nick Bantick’s “Griffin & Sabine” Series found by Willabird Designs Vintage Finds

Nick Bantick’s popular “Griffin & Sabine” series hardcovers- an Extraordinary Correspondence. Written & illustrated locally by Nick Bantock in Salt Spring Island. Unlike anything else. Artistry, mystery, intrigue. The first book summary: “Griffin Moss is an artist living in London who makes postcards for a living. He is unhappy & lonely, though he is unaware of these feelings. His life is changed forever when he receives a cryptic postcard from Sabine Strohem, a women he has never met.” The stories unfold entirely in correspondences, involving the reader to patch together the mystery of it all. I have a set of the original first three books, and a set of the full six books. All in immaculate condition. Almost all are signed by Nick Bantock. Some have other inscriptions. The final book has a sticker stuck to the front bottom. These books, especially signed, can sell for up to $150 for each book elsewhere. Published by Chronicle Books & Raincoast Books.
