Traditional Danish hygge shelves, called "Amager Hylle" to display small precious keepsakes with the intent to look upon them and feel gratitude daily. Comes with description. These one-of-a-kind hand painted triangle shelves are perfect for displaying items such as crystals, small plants, shells, photos, & mementos from trips or special events. Each time the shelf catches your eye in your day, stop, take a moment to be thankful, and then go about your day. These small acts of gratitude create long term effects, and that's what hygge is all about. Each shelf is hand crafted in my shop with locally sourced reclaimed wood, finished with colored clay, then uniquely painted. A modern take on Scandinavian folk design.

Dimensions: 8.75 inches wide x 1.25 inches thick x 7.5 inches tall (22 x 3 x 19 cm)
Materials: Varies per shelf, but includes reclaimed wood, clay, chalk paint, oil paint, and/or acrylic paint. Finished with a high quality Krylon UV-Resistant Clear Varnish. Protects against fading, discolouration, and moisture. Signed on the rear.

Note that each piece is handcrafted with reclaimed wood and may contain some imperfections- all part of their unique charm.
To hang: place peak of triangle onto secure screw or nail. For heavier crystals or items going on shelf, add two screws/nails underneath for extra support.
